my bug terrarium grows. i love these two sooooo much and i've been wanting plushies of them [and of other vbros characters just in general] for ages.
luckily for me i found these two handmade dolls off ebay for a pretty decent price for the both of them.
a week after i ordered them, i ended up discovering a seller on etsy who also had handmade monarch plushies, and i just had to grab him, which makes me one of the only people ever to own not 1 but 2 monarch plushies. bit of a flex, i'd say.
i've always loved this sort of style when it comes to plushies. its very simple but is extremely effective in preserving the most notable features of a character's design, and it does this perfectly with the monarch and dr. girlfriend, especially since they've already got pretty iconic designs just in general.
they both hang out around my cabinet of vintage porcelain butterflies, since it is a likely place for them to be.
